Discovered in 2004 in Jerusalem, the Pool of Siloam dates back to the time of Jesus. This archaeological find confirms the Gospel of John’s account of Jesus healing a blind man at this pool (John 9:1-11). The pool was part of Jerusalem’s ancient water system and served both practical and religious purposes.
